Domain: The Domain name is the name of a website, meaning Google.com is the domain name we enter into Google.
You have a specific name, everyone in your area calls you by that name. Now suppose your name is Harry. So if you are called by any other name, you will not respond, right?
IF someone calls you Jack all day, you must think they are calling someone else.So it's the same things. Just like you have a specific name for each website and there is just one name in the language of the web which is called DNS (Domain Name System). Google.com will take you to a website called Google. Just like your name. If you write Facebook.com again, it will take you to the Facebook website.
The main thing is that the name of a website is the domain name.
Domain Backend: Each website has a specific IP address. But it is difficult to remember the website with IP. So for convenience of remembering, the domain name is used instead of the IP address. Domain names are also used to identify one or more computers on the internet.
Basically the website can be accessed with the domain's IP, but these IP's are very difficult to remember. IP's are http://157.240.18.35/ (this is Facebook IP).
If you type this ID in your address bar, you will go directly to Facebook. Everyone can try. But this IP address is hard to remember facebook. so We use through the facebook.com (Domain name). This is basically the domain name system.
