There is a lot of prominence in WhatsApp for conducting experiments with new features in different countries and different platforms around the world.
The Facebook-owned instant messaging app launched last year, voice calling facility. Then one-to-one video calling facility is launched. Now the success story of WhatsApp is adding another new name - group video calling. Now you can talk to more than one person on video calls with WhatsApp from now on.
The new feature is first released on the website of Wabita Info. This website basically monitors all the upcoming features of WhatsApp. It is mentioned that a hint of group video calling was found on the latest version 2.17.443 of WhatsApp. But nothing more about this new feature is known. However, this website is keeping an eye on the new version of the Android app. Although there is no official announcement yet, this feature is already visible on Android users in beta.
The website mentions that the new version of the app includes a new option for users to provide group calling facility. In the screenshot posted on the website's Twitter account, the option to add more than one member to the video call in the upper right corner is easily visible. The added feature currently has the option of adding three subscribers to the group video call call provider and the recipient. That means, with the new feature, most of the five people can talk to the video call simultaneously.
Recently, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced on the company's fourth-quarter earnings estimates that WhatsApp is already reaching milestone of 1.5 billion users and 60 billion messages are delivered daily in WhatsApp.
